Once upon a time there was a beautiful young lady,

who gave birth to two beautiful girls,

(I'm the cuter one on
the left in the

who gave her 5 beautiful grandchildren

And these are the reasons I love her

1. Patience: Lord Almighty who else could drive from Charlotte, NC to California with 3 kids and 2 dogs in a pick up...with one daughter (take a guess who) with her feet in her lap and singing her lungs out to her walkman. I mean many times did you hear "We got the beat" by the Go'Gos?

2. Love: For letting me make my mistakes (does the name Keith Simms ring a bell?.. for that matter how about the entire year I was 16.

3. Faith: For always believing that I would eventually realize my mistakes! Some of them I still won't admit to!

4. Compassion: For being my shoulder to cry on, vent on and just take about any frustration I have out on.

5. And finally....for telling me constantly that you love me and that you are proud of me........

You are incredible. As a sister, mother, daughter, and all around as a person. You are fiery and feisty and wild and crazy and I love you. Thank you for making me teary eyed and I bet you got mom flat out crying.

I love your post! I love how you did the pictures and it really drew me in to see what was next! Your MoM was so pretty. Great hair!

I had a 45 of the GoGos song and new every word. We must be about the same age.

What a sweet way to wish your mom Happy Mother's Day. Loved all the pics. Your mom looks so very pretty in that pic.

Hello! Thanks for stopping by my blog...we'll definitely look for a wrought iron dress form. I'm starting a list of people's requests. You've been added, although it could take awhile...but you just never know!
