Porch Pillows

I have been waiting for fabric to come in for some bags that have been ordered....I hate being "unbusy" so I decided to take the time and make myself some pillows for my front porch. I have always loved the Cathedral Window quilt pattern (you can find a tutorial on my blog) and decided to make some pillows in this style.

I love the patchworky feel of it. I got the idea for the back of the window panes on the Moda Bakeshop website. They have another great tutorial on there.
I also love how it looks on my rocking chair.
I love that these look so hard to do but are in fact very easy!
The back of the pillow.....I just did it slip cover style.

I am so happy with the result.....now back to bag making!

Great job! Love how they turned out. It's one of my favorite blocks to make :)

I love this pillow. Can you explain how you you got most of it to be colored? Did you use a color for the initial piece that you fold alot and then a colored square for the insert part? Thanks.
