Well I think the title says it all.....here is what has been happening in my world. The wonderful USPS has lost the 9POUND!!!!! box that had all 13 bags in it. The man needed it by Wednesday and it never came......I mailed it out on the 5th of September. Seems a young man at the post office decided to play God and changed my shipping from Priority to Parcel after I had paid and left. I did put insurance on it...but they cant track it with just the insurance UNTIL it shows up and someone signs for it. WHAT A FREAKIN!!! NIGHTMARE!!!!! I am soooo disappointed and so upset....I spent all Wednesday bawling my eyes out. At this point I am just hoping that they show up. I feel awful for Bud (he has been amazing about this and says he will still use the bags at a later date) and I feel like a failure. It is so frustrating to work so hard on something and then it just disappears. Lets just pray that they DO SHOW UP at some point!
ps: talked to the "post master" today and the young gentleman was fired. Seems this was not the first time he has tampered with the mail.

((HUGGS)) I know this frustration first hand as I have had something similar happen with the USPS - after that incident if I have something that needs to be somewhere by a certain time I use FEDEX or UPS...I was so tired of being let down by the USPS that I only use them for sending out Christmas cards, but not my Christmas packages.
I really hope the bags get their intended recipient. ((HUGGS))
ugh. I'm sooooooooo sorry! I would be feeling pretty much the same way!
Don't beat yourself up about it though. You did everything right. Stupid post office. I knew there was a reason I avoid it.
sending big hugs to you. this is just terrible. I sure hope the bags show up soon. how sweet of the recipient to be so understanding.
I am so sorry! I empathize with you completely, I ended up getting a p.o. box because I never knew where my mail was going to show up. I'm glad the gentleman was let go, tampering should never be tolerate. I pray the bags show up, this isn't a fault of yours so don't feel like a failure because of someone elses incompatency.
I'm holding on to hope it they shows up. This reminds me of a EBAY situation where I sold a woman in CA the Tim Holtz Alcohol inks. I sent them Priority USPS and sure enough it went slower that any mail on earth. A month latter it showed up looking like (Jim Carrey) from Ace Ventura Pet Detective posing as a Package delivery man who punt, passed and kicked a package before delivering it. Funny for the movie not in real life. Fortunately like you I had an understanding customer and we kept in constant contact..just when I was about to return her money the beat up package arrive. So I'm hoping in the end your package will be delivered
O.K., my heart just sank for you and I just shut my mouth from it dropping open. So what happened?
